WHAT DO YOU DO HERE?
At John Bales Attorneys I am a Plaintiff’s Lawyer. This means that I advocate for those who have been wrongfully injured. On a daily basis, I work closely with James Ragano, and Attorney Joshua Pomerantz. Generally speaking, I prepare lawsuits, attend court hearings, prepare for and attend meditations and trials.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT BEING A LAWYER?
That’s an easy one: Helping people. I find it very rewarding on a day-to-day basis.
WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BECOME A PLAINTIFF’S LAWYER?
My grandfather was a lawyer and I was always inspired by his work and his integrity. I am proud to be following in his footsteps.
DVDS, NETFLIX, HBO GO, OR HULU?
What are those things? DVD’s, I guess.
YOU HAVE ONE MEAL TO EAT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. IT IS…
A traditional pressed Tampa Cuban sandwich – no lettuce or tomato, of course – with a side of black beans and rice, and a salad… And don’t forget the cortadito. That’s the good stuff!
TELL US ABOUT THE LAST BOOK YOU READ.
The last book I read was “Where Men Win Glory”, by Jon Krakauer. It’s the biography of Pat Tillman, who gave up his professional football career to fight for freedom in Afghanistan. He knew what he wanted to do, and he sure did it. It is very inspiration and I highly recommend it.
WHAT’S THE COOLEST PLACE YOU HAVE EVER BEEN?
Marrakesh, Morocco. My best friend and I went to Europe, somehow wound up in Morocco, kept going all the way down to Marrakesh, had an incredible time, and lived to tell the tale.
COFFEE OR TEA?
I mostly enjoy coffee. But tea has its time and place, too.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE QUOTE?
“Be the change you wish to see in the world” – Mahatma Gandhi
IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY SUPER POWER WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
Time travel – does that count?
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
My wife, my son, and my daughter – they are the best ever.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT WORKING HERE?
Working together to help others.
Thank you, Rob, and now we know who to ask if we want to borrow some DVDs. We are happy that you are here in Tampa, the home of the original Cuban sandwich.
